ECRVs served multiple purposes beyond communication assets; they were instrumental in recruitment, public relations showcases, and fundraising initiatives.

How I miss those early days of DST! We were in the forefront of technology services for the American Red Cross disaster services. And the eventual production of the ECRV brought us to the height of our services.
I was basically a computer tech manager, but I knew that the foundation that supported my work, was the Communications function. And as a female in a basically male activity, I can honestly say this: never once as I made to feel less than, never once were my questions left unanswered, never once was I made to feel that I didn’t belong!

I think I can safely say we all miss those days...
